Resumen
RODRIGUEZ ORDONEZ, Franklin. Acoustic Study of Vowel Length in the Spoken Language from Corpus Preseea-Medellín. Linguist.lit. [online]. 2023, n.83, pp.110-138. Epub 13-Jun-2023. ISSN 0120-5587. https://doi.org/10.17533/udea.lyl.n83a05.
The purposes of this research were to establish duration values of vowels and identify how variables referring to the vowel category, to structure of the syllabic, the word, and the statement are related to the configuration of vowel length. From a corpus preseea-Medellín sample, it was possible to identify an intrinsic vowel duration average of 65,32 ms; besides, the duration is more correlated to the prosodic structures of the statements than the internal structure of the syllables or the words.
