SANTANA RIVAS, Daniel. Exploring Some Recent Trajectories of Justice in Contemporary Human Geography: From Territorial Justice to Spatial Justices. Cuad. Geogr. Rev. Colomb. Geogr. [online]. 2012, vol.21, n.2, pp.75-84. ISSN 0121-215X.
Justice began to be valued as an analytical category in geography starting with the appearance of radical criticism in the 1970s. Since then, diferent approaches to justice have been developed. The central objective of this paper is to discuss the proposals of these approaches and draw conclusions regarding the debates still to come regarding this issue. The article begins by analyzing the concept of territorial justice, and then goes on to explore the contemporary Neo-Marxist discussion about justice in human geography. It also examines proposals made from other approaches such as welfare geography, quantitative geography, and Edward Soja's theory of spatial geography.
