This text seeks to clarify the recent development of pedagogy in Colombia with the interest of clarifying a complex discussion when pedagogy is claimed as a substantial discipline in the process of training teachers and teachers. We will rehearse a reflection in search of clarity, recovering a certain conceptual historical order around Colombian pedagogy, between 1982 and 2020, to facilitate their study and analysis to the young generations of educators, and strengthen the process of training teachers and teachers in the Faculties of Education. In this period our pedagogy gradually reconstituted its status, as well as knowing, already as a discourse, and as a substantial discipline to the training of teachers.
