Two aspects are considered for this project, one related to how to get so agile and modern altimetry terrain that is mapping, which is determined by the development of the technique called digital photogrammetry and the other aspect is the kind of emphasize what we want to represent. It proposes a standard methodology for generating contour from Digital Terrain Models, based on a ranking of the morphometry that has been made based on characteristic features in Colombia to provide the user with optimum results with lower costs and time in the mapping at 1:25.000. The specifications will be at the service of the entities that produce cartographic information that can analyze the benefits of the parameters set for further use and application in implementing projects related to this area.
