This paper discusses the history of "philosophical normality", as it was chosen in some versions after 1980, with various elements of the textual production of philosophy in Colombia, between 1940-1950. From the exposition of different textual approaches in the writing of 1940-1950, it be clear of the program or the aspirations that some writers placed in philosophy, to put this as a background for the journal Ideas y Valores and thus propose a closer look to the complete texts of the first years.
