SEVILLA GODINEZ, Héctor. Religion and thought. The link between faith and reason in the philosophy of Abraham Heschel. Franciscanum [online]. 2021, vol.63, n.176, pp.3-3.  Epub 28-Out-2021. ISSN 0120-1468.  https://doi.org/10.21500/01201468.5482.

This article analyzes the influence of the Greek and Hebrew worlds on contemporary thought. With the aim of avoiding the dichotomy, different reflections are proposed, supported by the contributions of Abraham Heschel, around the coincidences between religion and thought, faith and reason, philosophy and theology, as well as science and Spirituality. Incarnated in a family of Hasidic tradition, Heschel shows, in its philosophical- theological conjunction, the possibility of observing the question of the transpersonal from integrative perspectives, which has been forgotten by philosophy today.
