This article examines the organization of undergraduate and postgraduate university programs in international studies. The results of the analysis demonstrate the importance of interdisciplinary exchange between economics, political science and international relations studies in the formulation of the curriculum, in the development of research and in the relationship with academic centers in the region. The document is articulated in the following axes: conceptual elaboration, thematic areas of research and incidence of knowledge in society.

Palavras-chave : international relations; theory; research; development; interdisciplinary..
