This article explores Colombian law, using the concepts from the school of Behavioural Law and Economics, in order to explain why there is a need for different treatment in consumer protection in the electronic environment, both from the perspective of the decline of the costs associated with mistrust, such as raising relatively those related to consumer claims, to achieving regulatory compensation that induces efficient cost and consumption behaviours.
