PALERMO, Hernán  e  RIVERO, Cynthia. Labor memories in the Argentinean privatization processes. Nómadas [online]. 2011, n.34, pp.135-149. ISSN 0121-7550.

This article is directed to analyze the way in which the privatization processes in Argentina led to the des-structuring of a socio-laboring and symbolic order that used to organize the life of two worker collectives linked to the oil extraction and steel production. it also thinks over the meanings and values struggling into the process of construing memory, tracking continuities and ruptures. it was found that the privatization process as well as turning workers into entrepreneurs represents a rupture point that makes it difficult and more complex to broadcast the experience.

Palavras-chave : privatization processes; labor; workers; memory disputes; oil workers; iron and steel workers.
