BIZERRIL, José. Religion and other forms of subjectivation in a globlalized world.Traduzido porFernando Campos Leza. Nómadas [online]. 2013, n.39, pp.181-195. ISSN 0121-7550.
This article discusses the possible implications that globally spread religious traditions of the minorities may have on contemporary subjectivation processes. Specifically, by focusing on embodied subjectivities, it analyzes the example of Asian contemplative practices in Brazil and the Diaspora of African- Brazilian religions across the Mercosur and Europe. The practice of these traditions opens the possibility of creating alternative subjectivities that differ from the hegemony of contemporary capitalism, and also the risk of being a simulation, especially in new age ruling systems.
