This article seeks to understand the questions and debates born around euthanasia by the different conceptualizations that have revolved around this practice. Death as a major player in this process unfolds numerous debates in the different economic, social, political, religious and cultural backgrounds, giving rise diversity of thoughts and views on those who are against and in favor of it.

For the development of the item the point was about the various notions that have surrounded this practice; between the conceptions that took into ac count the origin, the position of the Catholic Church on this technique, the rights revolve around euthanasia and other concepts that have been of great debate in the course of its history were determined.
