Diversitas has been assessed by the Colciencias PUBLINDEX system, and has been awarded a B Category. This achievement is the product of just 5 years of work, and it confirms that the strategy of national placement and the tasks associated to this result have been accomplished. Now, the actions we must undertake now, face us with a set of strategies for internationalization of the Journal and for increasing the visibility of our Faculty and our University. In this sense, having fulfilled the aforementioned requirement, our next goal is to become part of SCIELO. We hope that the support of the Brazilian PEPSIC initiative, which has contributed so much in marking our journal, will be important to migrate to SCIELO, and to move to Category A in Colciencias ranking. On other news, we continue to work in improving several processes in the Journal, and we hope that these will favorably impact the quality of our publication.

It is clear that this achievement will have immediate effects for the University's research groups and for the national Psychological Community, and that entering SCIELO will allow us to enhance the relevance of this goal internationally. It is important to note that a general consequence of this type of achievement is the qualitative and quantitative jump in the number and quality of the articles received and published by the Journal, and therefore, in the demands made by the Journal to authors submitting their manuscripts for publication. We hope that authors and reviewers will accompany us in this task.

In light of what has just been said, this recognition received by the Journal is a reason for institutional celebration and for gratitude towards all the people that have supported this project and that continue to believe in Diversitas through their commitment.
