Operation San Roque, developed by the National Army of Colombia within the Motilón Barí community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic contingencies, was a humanitarian effort that allowed the delivery of goods and services within the disputed territory of Catatumbo. This effort created a space that generated the interaction of two social groups with different lifestyles. To examine the groups' lifestyles in relation to the mentioned donations, this study employed semi-structured interviews whose outputs were analyzes using PCA and K-means clustering. The results obtained revealed how both groups' particular preferences, needs, and opinions determine the limitations and benefits that the National Army's humanitarian operations can have within this society.

Palavras-chave : civil-military relations; donations; indigenous community; lifestyle; speech; traditional culture.
