AMAYA, José Antonio  e  RENDON ACOSTA, Julián Leonardo. The Education of the Naturalist Hebephilo, 1791-1794. Front. hist. [online]. 2016, vol.21, n.2, pp.104-131. ISSN 2027-4688.  https://doi.org/10.22380/2027468897.

Francisco Antonio Zea (1766-1822) wrote in 1791 with the pseudonymous of Hebephilo. Here we present a Zea's fragment about the Flora of Bogotá (Flora de Bogotá) by José Celestino Mutis (1732-1808). The description being dated 1798. The treatment that Antonio José Cavanilles (1745-1804) reserved to it in Materials for the history of botany (“Materiales para la historia de la botánica”) (1800), turned it into must place when it was ordered to move the cabinet of the Botanical Expedition (1783-1816) to Madrid (1814). The instruction of Zea at the side of Mutis is the sensitive referent of his description. The purpose of this study is complemented with the relationship of Zea with the social gathering (Tertulia) of Nariño.
