Resumo

A preliminary synopsis of the mantis of the department of Santander was carried out using the samples stored in the entomological collections of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) and the CDMB (Regional Autonomic Corporation for the Defense of the Bucaramanga Plateau) as a reference. 66 specimens were found, 63 in UIS and 3 in the CDMB, 15 genus, 3 families and 10 subfamilies were also identified.
