The relationship between psychological factors and the vulnerability of the athlete to injury has been studied in recent years. One of the aspects to consider is the influence of the athlete’s risk behaviors on the probability of suffering injury. The objective is to determine if there are differences in the tendency to risk between a group of soccer hall and soccer 11 players who have suffered injury with another group that has not suffered an injury. The sample of this research was composed of 102 women belonging to teams of soccer 11 and soccer hall of the Region of Murcia, with ages between 12 and 37 years. For data collection, a self-report questionnaire, the Dospert (Domain Specific Risk Taking) for adults (Blais & Weber, 2006) was used. The results indicate that there are no significant differences between the two groups (injured and non-injured), although we can see a trend of higher risk-tendency scores in the group of injured individuals.
