The technological innovation capabilities are a critical factor within organizations to respond to technological advances and the intensification of knowledge; therefore, the use of mechanisms to measure them becomes a valuable tool for the diagnosis and formulation of policies that favor technological management. Given this need, the objective of this article is to identify the mechanisms used for the measurement of Technological Innovation Capacities, based on bibliometric analysis. Among the results it is indicated that these capacities can be mediated through qualitative and quantitative variables using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), Fuzzy Logic, Hierarchical Analysis Processes, among others; However, each company can adopt its own tool to measure its capabilities taking into account the characteristics and variables of each sector to which it belongs. Finally, it is concluded that the issue is relevant for organizations, as the Technological Innovation Capabilities, potentialize innovation, technological development, knowledge generation, research and, therefore, generate competitive advantages and better business performance.
