Because care can potentially have an impact in the fields of vindication, redistribution, and representation, it has influenced the political dynamics involved in the design of administrative guidelines in Bogotá. The article discusses the main social policies regarding care adopted by the city administration from 2000 to 2015. The categories addressed are care and social justice. The article begins with an outline of the research assumptions, describes the theoretical development of the categories of analysis, and, finally, discusses the findings.
