Malnutrition is a public health problem that affects over half the population of the world. It is the result of social determinants and socioeconomic factors that prevent access to food products, as well as of unhealthy eating habits promoted by the food industry. One of the solutions to this problem is nutrition education, which seeks to foster the development of attitudes and practices that allow people to improve and maintain their nutritional status and develop the competences necessary for their insertion in the social world.
