ANDRADE SALAZAR, José Alonso; HURTADO CLAVIJO, María Elizabeth; PATINO FRANCO, Manuela  e  RAMIREZ NARANJO, Geraldine. State of the consumption of psychoactive substances in the department of Quindío, Colombia (2019-2021). Rev. logos cienc. tecnol. [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.3, pp.132-147.  Epub 12-Nov-2022. ISSN 2145-594X.  https://doi.org/10.22335/rlct.v14i3.1596.

The objective of this review is to determine the state of psychoactive substance use in the department of Quindío, Colombia, for which a systematic documentary review was carried out using a Prisma-P protocol matrix as a model. It was found that there is an increase in the consumption of psychoactive substances in Quindío, which is analogous to the situation in Colombia, and that the age of onset is increasingly younger, which places young people and adolescents as the population at greatest risk of consumption, recidivism and substance abuse. Consumption was associated with confinement and an increase in intrafamily violence during the pandemic, while a vulnerability factor is being a woman, a mother and head of household, and living with a partner who is a consumer. There has also been an increase in micro-trafficking and experimentation with new designer drugs, a situation that boomed during the pandemic confinement, and which has spread and continues in the post-pandemic or "new normal".

Palavras-chave : addiction; consumption; drugs; poisoning; psychoactive substance; polyconsumption.
