During INVEMAR-MACROFAUNA cruises (1998 - 1999), carried out along the upper continental slope of the Colombian Caribbean, 26 species of corals were collected, nine of them are first records for the area. The distribution ranges of Polymyces fragilis and Fungiacyathus crispus are extended to the north coast of Colombia. The distribution ranges of Schizocyathus frissilis, Balanophyllia cyathoides, B. palifera and B. bayeri are extended to the southern Caribbean. It is presented a list of the azooxanthellate coral species of the Colombian Caribbean.
