Abstract

In this essay it is analyzed the development of the liberal state model in Colombia, from independence times to now days. This is an attempt to establish if in a certain way the liberal state model in Colombia was developed, such as the one presented on other countries in the world. It is made a short historical description of the liberal state evolution around the world. This is also a try to confirm the different liberalism branches that were introduced in our country, and if they were certainly applied. It is made serious analysis about neo liberalism introduction and its consequences in Colombia.
