This paper presents and explains a mathematical model for planning and dimensioning in an optimal way many kinds of industries which use processes of transformation of matter (so called process industries) and which produce several products using some determinate pieces or set of pieces of equipment. This methodology is completely original of the author  and it does not appear in any book or article on Proyect Evaluation, Financial Mathematics, Plant Design and related subjects. The method has been applied by the author to the planning and dimensioning of several plants in process industries in Colombia.
