Abstract

This paper presents the geological and structural characterization of the Otu fault influence zone in the Segovia-Remedios mining district. It also proposes the mechanical controls for gold mineralization in the area, which, even if they are in part consistent with a model of orogenic gold, allow other possible interpretations.
