Abstract

SANTAMARIA, ALEXANDER et al. DETERMINATION OF SO2 DESORPTION ENERGIES ON CARBONACEOUS MATERIALS DURING NON-ISOTHERMAL PROCESSES. Dyna rev.fac.nac.minas [online]. 2011, vol.78, n.165, pp. 169-175. ISSN 0012-7353.

This paper presents the application of a mathematical model that allows the calculation of SO2 desorption energy from carbon surface complexes during processes of temperature program desorption (TPD). The model has the advantage that the energy distribution function can be calculated directly from the experimental data and can be adjusted to any type of adsorbate and any experiment to temperature program desorption (TPD).

Keywords : Energy desorption; activated carbon fibers; SO2; activated carbon; DPT.
