Abstract

ZAPATA-GOMEZ, AMPARO  and  SARACHE-CASTRO, WILLIAM ARIEL. QUALITY AND CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: A MODEL OF CAUSALITY. Dyna rev.fac.nac.minas [online]. 2013, vol.80, n.177, pp.31-39. ISSN 0012-7353.

The current article develops a model based on the use of mathematical and statistical functions that identifies the causal relationships between the dimensions of quality and dimensions of corporate social responsibility. The research started from the development of a tool that allows the assessment, with enough reliability and validity, of the relationship between quality, processes, customers and innovation. Subsequently, according to the established dimensions a causal model was formulated; the results showed that there is a strong and positive correlation between quality and social responsibility. Furthermore, the model provides information for developing other theoretical applications from empirical data.

Keywords : Quality; model of causality; corporate social responsibility.
