Abstract

MONTESINOS-GONZALEZ, Salvador. Continuous improvement of a postgraduate course in Mexico applying the QFD. Dyna rev.fac.nac.minas [online]. 2022, vol.89, n.spe222, pp.106-114.  Epub Sep 22, 2022. ISSN 0012-7353.  https://doi.org/10.15446/dyna.v89n222.101794.

The objective of this research is focused on developing the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) as a continuous improvement methodology for a postgraduate program taught at a Higher Education Institution (HEI) in Mexico, from an educational quality management approach, which is based on meeting the needs and requirements of all the actors involved in the program, in order to improve the quality of the service offered from the educational point of view. Areas of opportunity were identified for appropriate and timely decision-making by the corresponding authorities, generating as a result a holistic and comprehensive improvement model proposed for the case study that can be used in other similar educational models.

Keywords : QFD; continuous improvement; graduate; improvement curriculum.
