Abstract

TKACH, Volodymyr V. et al. Mechanistic mechanism evaluation of the performance of polymeric conductor electrode, modified by fragments of safranin, in the detection of hydroquinonic compounds. Possible example of propyl gallate. Rev. colomb. cienc. quim. farm. [online]. 2017, vol.46, n.1, pp.22-35. ISSN 0034-7418.  https://doi.org/10.15446/rcciquifa.v46n1.67288.

The electroanalytical performance of a conducting polymer electrode, modified by safranin fragments, was theoretically evaluated in the electrochemical quantification of hydroquinone compounds (with the example of propyl gallate). The corresponding mathematical model was evaluated using linear stability theory and bifiir-cation analysis. The performance of safranin as an electrode modifier was compared to that of the other modifying substances. The presence of electrochemical instabilities was also investigated.

Keywords : Food hygiene; quinone compounds; quantification; chemically modified electrodes; safranin; stable steady state.
