Analyzes the factorial structure of the manic syndrome using an instrument composed with Bech's manía rating scale and 3 ítems to measure attention and psychosis is analised. This instrument showed adequate internal consistence (Cronbach's alpha 0.86). A factor analysis method has been used, showing 4 domains in this syndrome: Activation, Psychosis, Relationship and Cognitive-Affective. Activation is the Domain which explains most of the variance.
