Physian, Psychiatrist, Psychoanalyst, poet, Writer, Educator, Academician, Politician. Professor of psychology, psychiatry, psychoanalysis, teacher, a tropical wind. He was tropic, rain, explosion, outbreak, entanglement, violence, calm. He was born in Valledupar, november 5, 1907 and dier in a tragic accident, march 23, 1995. He kept tracking the thought of different autors in order to find scientific knowledge, relations with genetics, understanding of psychosocial phenomena. He made use of insight, experimentation and dialectics, trying to overcome antithetical and dogmatic philosophies, looking for a synthesis between a couple of opposed positions. He wrote a lot and about many things; Cocarrás had the need to spin, to weave among education, physical and mental health, politics, society, safety in Colombia, interpretation of society.
