Abstract

This paper inquires into current colombian life condition, investigating aspects of violence, ethics, cultural origin of illnesses, and suggestion stemming from bioethics to approach the conflicts we suffer. Violence is proposed as a human manifestation which might be interpreted from many theoretical angles, affecting the normal development of life. A sacred life, where bioethics is inserted as ethies of life itself, a life tending towards dignity and material condition to favor its expressions. Author feels that mental illness is a result of interaction between me and environment, an ecological vision with particular attention towards milieu and social actions on health; understanding illness through to social systems the person is immerse in. Patient´s behaviors constitute a wider network of disturbed and disturbing conducts,as a system within the social tissue.
