Introduction: This paper portrays a reflection on psychotherapy and its influence on the construction of a happier life. Objective: The paper considers a topic not too worked in the therapeutic environment, but that is vital for patients in their everyday life. Method: A theoretical analysis of concepts such as “think”, “take care”, “happiness” and “hope” is done. Results and conclusion: Therapy contributes to the happiness of patients in the measure that therapy allows them to enjoy, to know and to act.
