Abstract

GARCIANDIA IMAZ, José Antonio. Abduction, Family and Pathology. rev.colomb.psiquiatr. [online]. 2009, vol.38, n.1, pp.28-49. ISSN 0034-7450.

Introduction: Abduction, so frequent in our country, has been scarcely approached from a clinical perspective. It is likely that the dynamics of silence established around this issue within the family favor somatic expressions. Objective: To refl ect on the influence the abduction has after it has ended. Method: Qualitative analysis of the implications abduction has on a family, through a process of family therapy. Results and conclusion: the influence the abduction exerts on the family does not end with the release or with immediate psychotherapy.

Keywords : Kidnapping; family; pathology; silence.
