The System of Criminal Liability for Teenagers, their Constitutional and Validity in the light of International Instruments on Protection of Children is a product of a theoretical reflection which aims to lay bare de failures that occur within the system of criminal responsibility enshrined teen in the law 1098 of 2006 in the light of a constitutional analysis of the major international on the subject. The text seeks to demonstrate the weaknesses in the system and derive not only in situations of unconstitutionality on the occasion of the violation of certain fundamental rights of children subject to this procedure but suggests the absence of material implementation of international instruments on application of punitive justice for minors have been recognized by the majority of democratic states and the consequences of such a derogation and disregard concluding about the urgent need to rethink the system by giving priority to prevention policy that includes a criminal policy for minors.
