Abstract

The situation of Colombian children requires special attention by the state, family and society. Colombian children is not stranger to the various social ills. He is a victim of violent deaths, sexual violence, lack of balanced diet, child labor, school desertion, kidnapping, abandonment, anti-personnel mines, forced displacement, teenage pregnancy, among other scourges annexes, which denigrate protectionist safeguards the Constitution calls. The current constitutional system, from the Constitution of 1991, set a new legal and social reality that supports a new development in respecting and protecting the constitutional and family relationships d within the context of child rights and adolescence.
