Congenital malformations of the inner ear are rare conditions, but their detection requires high diagnostic accuracy. In this report we describe the case of a patient with single or common cavity, discuss the corresponding radiological images, describe the tratment of this patient with a cochlear implant, and review the classification and differential diagnosis of the other anomalies of the inner ear.
