Abstract

ENRIQUEZ-DOMINGUEZ, Lenin; DIAZ-ROSALES, Juan de Dios  and  RIVAS-SERNA, Juan. Double cystic duct in single gallbladder: surgical finding. rev.fac.med. [online]. 2010, vol.58, n.3, pp.233-235. ISSN 0120-0011.

The presence of anomalies in the biliary tract is a common finding, but a double cystic duct without gallbladder duplication is very rare, and there are few reports in the literature. We report the chirurgical discovery of a double cystic duct, without the typical clinical presentation. Preoperative diagnosis was not appropriated, although there are precise methods to do it. We must keep in mind the malformations of the biliary tract, for a proper identification

Keywords : cystic duct; cholecystectomy; laparoscopic; biliary tract.
