Abstract

GONDIM, ELNORA. Rawls: The Problem of Autonomy and Coherentism. Ideas y Valores [online]. 2010, vol.59, n.144, pp.69-81. ISSN 0120-0062.

The transformation of the idea of autonomy into that of justice as equality modifies the work of Rawls taken as a whole. Thus, while in the Theory of Justice, a Kantiantype of autonomy is adopted, in Political Liberalism, autonomy is extended to the sphere of the political.

Keywords : J. Rawls; autonomy; coherentism.
