Abstract

The article provides a comparative study of the problem of perception in Aristotle and Maurice Merleau-Ponty, taking into account the anthropological context that frames their proposals. It establishes their possible points of convergence and their main differences. The study also pays special attention to the link between the sensory-perceptual act and movement, as well as to the problem of perceptual consciousness and the issue of the actuality common to the sentient and sensible aspects.
