The article emphasizes the importance of Nicolás Gómez Dávila's axiological meditation as a research path that facilitates the study ofhis work. It analyzes the ambivalent reception of his publications, and seeks the causes for that in the characteristics of his work and the relation between form and content. It suggests the pertinence of his axiological meditation as a thematic line that helps explain and understand the characteristics of his philosophical work.
