Abstract

AGUIRRE-TAPIERO, MA. PILAR and GUZMAN DE TOME, MARTA E. A new species of the genus Heteroderes (Coleoptera: Elateridae; Agrypninae) from Colombia. Rev. Colomb. Entomol. [online]. 2010, vol.36, n.2, pp.315-318. ISSN 0120-0488.

A new species of click beetle, Heteroderes vallensis spec. nov. (Coleoptera: Elateridae, Agrypninae), is described from Valle del Cauca and Neiva, Colombia. Illustrations are provided of the holotype and the genitalia of both males and females.

Keywords : Valle del Cauca; Click beetles; New species.
