Abstract

MATA-CASANOVA, NOEL  and  PUJADE-VILLAR, JULI. New contributions to the knowledge of Acanthaegilips in Colombia (Hymenoptera: Figitidae: Anacharitinae). Rev. Colomb. Entomol. [online]. 2013, vol.39, n.1, pp.71-75. ISSN 0120-0488.

Six species of the genus Acanthaegilips in Colombiaare mentioned. Acanthaegilips ashmeadi, A. diazi, A. huggerti and A. venezuelensis are mentioned for the first time in Colombia. A new species is described: A. palmirae n. sp. is described, and the female of A. colombiensis is collected for the first time.
