Abstract
TRILLO TINOCO, Flor Elisa; HUAMAN, Diana and BRYCE, Marta. Interagency cooperation strategies for the construction of information resources for decision makers: a case Peru. Rev. Interam. Bibliot [online]. 2012, vol.35, n.2, pp.227-234. ISSN 0120-0976.
This paper shares the experiences derived from adopting the regional model of the Peru's Health Virtual Library created by the Regional Medicine Library (BIREME, acronym in Portuguese), currently known as the Latin American and Caribbean Center on Health Sciences information. This model allows improving the access to information on health topics through free-access applications and methodologies for information management. This paper also shows the maturation process of the model, whose fruit is the creation of a space where the memory of the country is rescued on the subject of health.
