This paper aims to outline the theoretical principles for the creation, design and organization of Knowledge Networks based on the Knowledge Management (KM), case RITCS (Transdisciplinary Research Network on Social Sciences), through strategies that support the generation and adaptation of new models of frontier teaching and research in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) that are immersed in scenarios of the third environment.
