Scientific production is one of the most important parameters to establish the different classifications of the universities either nationally or internationally. The aim of this study was to analyze the scientific production of the health field of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua; for this, a systematic review of the Scopus database was carried out. A total of 1472 documents of this University were identified, of which 315 were signed by at least one health researcher. The faculties that produce most are the Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and the Physical Culture Sciences with 128 and 110 documents, respectively. In 67.6 % of the documents, there was national collaboration, while in 38.1 % the collaboration was national. In 43.8% the main author of the documents was a researcher of this University. It is concluded that the scientific production of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, in general, has increased in recent years, however, it is still far from the large national producers.
