Abstract

MORENO ROMO, Juan Carlos. PHILOSOPHY, DECONSTRUCTION, PHENOMENOLOGY AND RELIGION IN THE CRISIS OF OUR TRASNMODERN WORLD. Escritos - Fac. Filos. Let. Univ. Pontif. Bolivar. [online]. 2011, vol.19, n.43, pp.285-313. ISSN 0120-1263.

This paper was written just a few days after the 76th anniversary of Husserl's famous lecture: The Philosophy and the Crisis of European Man, which was delivered in Vienna's Cultural Circle on May 7th and May 10th, 1935. More than just because of the closeness of the dates, the necessity of commemorating such a significant philosophical event was motivated by the "Regional Meeting of Philosophy and Pedagogy: Phenomenology and Significant Learning. With this meeting the Autonomous University of Baja California (Universidad Autónoma de Baja California) celebrated, in its campus of Tijuana, the 25th anniversary of the foundation of the College of Humanities. In the particular context of Mexico and Latin America the lecture raises the questions regarding the necessity and the relevance of philosophy nowadays.

Keywords : Alterity; Deconstruction; Community; Difference; Responsibility.
