Abstract

SANCHEZ MUNOZ, Rubén. THE PROBLEM OF CRISIS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF EDMUND HUSSERL'S PHENOMENOLOGY. Escritos - Fac. Filos. Let. Univ. Pontif. Bolivar. [online]. 2015, vol.23, n.50, pp.157-177. ISSN 0120-1263.

The aim of the following paper is to think over the sense of Husserl's Crisis of Sciences from the perspective of Positivism, in order to argue in favor of the idea which asserts that such a crisis is an anthropological crisis and, at the same time, a cultural crisis that rests on the oblivion of the Lifeworld. The previous idea makes possible to think and to found the anthropological sense of Phenomenology and its relations to Ethics, which are two of the main areas of research in current Phenomenology. Based on a critical and interpretative analysis of the works, the paper aims to reveal that the final purpose of Phenomenology is to recover or reconstruct the rational subject. Bearing that on mind, Phenomenology develops an important ethical and anthropological sense that makes possible fundamental areas of phenomenological research.

Keywords : Phenomenology; Crisis; Positivism; Science; Anthropology.
