This article is the result of an exegetical study on 1 Thess 1,1-10. It is a theological interpretation of the text. This interpretation is coherent with the Tradition and the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. The contents of this article succeed in updating the fundamental truths of the Christian faith explained from the beginning to the Thessalonian community as well as the Christian values lived there. It is worthwhile doing a comparative reflection on the first evangelization and the present Latin American evangelzation. Finally, this article wants to be an invitation to reclaim the positive and atractive fundamentals of Christianity.
