Abstract

QUINTERO-NUNEZ, Helmer. THE "I" THAT BELONGS TO ME: PRONOMINAL AND NONTRANSITIVE USE OF "έүώ" IN ROMANS 7: 7-25. Cuest. teol. [online]. 2018, vol.45, n.104, pp.411-430. ISSN 0120-131X.  https://doi.org/10.18566/cuetea.v45n104.a05.

The meaning of "I" within the context of Romans 7 disposes different feasible soteriological models. Thus, the article contributes to the debate about its meaning and outlines a proposal relating the practical use of " έүώ". It also suggests that in some models of recognition of meaning, there is some degree of tolerance to non-viable criteria of interpretation.

Keywords : Biblical Hermeneutics; Romans 7: 7-25; Christian Struggle; Christian Perfection; Salvation.
