Abstract The purpose of the article is to reflect about the Man's transcendence as an anthropological constituent that supports the Mission of Catholic Universities, everything enlightened from Karl Rahner's conception of God's absolute self-communication. The topic will be shown through a presentation of the ontological dimension of God's absolute self-communication, the essential anthropological elements for its reception; the transcendental dimension of the Man and the consequences of the Divine's offer reception.
